The producer of the tournament has the overall authority with regards to any alterations or additions to the rules. Marshals oversee the event, and their decision is always final. No dispute on the paintball field is accommodated or entertained.

It is useless having a military approach to paintball, as it is recognized and understood by the teams. The teams' tactic must be carefully planned. The opposing team must not know what your line of attack will be, and you should always have a 'plan B' should something go wrong.

A great deal of teamwork is necessary, as everyone moves throughout the field. The team members must stick together and follow the plan.

As a team member moves, there should be others to guard and keep watch, giving off covering shots when necessary. A team that moves together with a common objective will have a great chance of succeeding in the game of paintball.

Communication between teams when on the field is vitally important. A team-mate can shout the position of the opponent.

The moment that a player is seen, the game for that player is up; therefore having no valid reason for you to keep quite; instead, inform the others of the location of the enemy.

The thrill and excitement of the game concludes when you are seen and eliminated. This is a situation which all team players struggle to avoid.

Paintball really is a character-building sport. Self-confidence can be gained and leadership abilities are learned, while having great fun at the same time. It is an amazing stress relief game, making it a great sport to play after a hard week at work, or simply to shake off your day-to-day responsibilities.
